Trainer explained that horse, which has been leading at its most recent starts, had gear changes effected which included blinkers off. As the horse had been racing in the lead and not finishing its races off the intention was to settle in a one out one back position with cover. After travelling a short distance in today's event the horse dropped the bit which allowed REDSSON to cross it resulting in the horse settling further back than anticipated.
