Raced 3 wide without cover and then refused to settle. Bumped on the home turn. Rider explained from wide draw never able to get any closer than 3 wide. Added mare racing in blinkers today for first time and as a result overraced badly when unable to obtain cover. Added mare far too keen and as a result was unable to finish the race off. Rider of the view connections intend to drop mare back in distance at its next start. Vetted -found to be stepping slightly short in front.
