Jockey J Lloyd reported that the mare failed to travel comfortably at any stage of the event and in his opinion was in need of a spell. He also reported that the mare made an abnormal respiratory sound during the event. A post-race veterinary examination revealed the mare to be sore over the rump and lame in the off fore leg. A veterinary certificate of fitness will be required prior to its next race start. Mr Edmonds confirmed that it will be sent for a spell.
