Began awkwardly, making contact with the barrier partition, and lost ground. Raced in restricted room approaching the 600m between SILVER BO and COUNTRY SHOWGIRL, which shifted in slightly. After this the breastplate broke, causing the saddle to shift back, placing the rider in some inconvenience for the remainder of the event.

Shifted out abruptly shortly after the start and then after travelling 100 metres commenced to hang out and raced wide on the course before veering out approaching the home turn and finished on the outside rail and was unable to be tested. A post-race veterinary examination revealed lameness in the off hind leg. Trainer L. Hilton was advised that the filly would require a veterinary clearance and must perform satisfactorily in an official trial prior to being permitted to race again.
