When afforded the opportunity to comment on the horse's performance, apprentice J. Orman stated that the mare had a tendency to overrace in the early and middle stages, however was entitled to finish the race off better than it did. He added that the mare was making a slight abnormal respiratory noise. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no significant findings.
