Slow to begin and as a result settled further back in the field than anticipated. Both rider and trainer were at a loss to explain the disappointing performance. Trainer subsequently reported the horse was sore over the back, neck and wither and would receive chiropractic treatment in the coming days as it may have jarred up thereby contributing to the disappointing performance. Has since been treated, and will be given one more chance this prep.
