Hung out from the 500m until entering the home straight, and whilst hanging out was forced wider on the track by another runner. When questioned as to the horse's performance, apprentice S. Eilbeck reported that the gelding never felt comfortable in its action throughout the event and when asked to improve into the race from the 600m commenced to hang out and shifted wider on the track. Apprentice Eilbeck added that over the concluding stages the gelding changed stride and dipped and for that reason she did not continue to pressure the horse. Vetted, no significant findings.
