Raced three wide with cover throughout. When questioned regarding the horse's performance, jockey J. Lloyd stated that the mare travelled reasonably well until a point passing the 400m when it was shifted wider by another runner trying to improve to its inside and from that point until the 300m the mare dropped the bit and failed to respond to his urgings, however over the final stages maintained a run to the line. He added that in his opinion the horse raced greenly and that he had recommended to connections that winkers be put back on the mare for its next start.
