On return to scale J. Lloyd reported the horse to be making an abnormal respiratory noise. A post-race veterinary examination confirmed that the horse had a respiratory irregularity and therefore, based on this advice, connections were advised that the horse would require a veterinary clearance, including the results of an endoscopic examination, prior to racing again
