Bumped on jumping away. Approaching the home turn was buffeted when racing in restricted room when SIR ROTHEWAY shifted out slightly. When questioned regarding the performance of the horse, jockey A. Allen stated that the horse never travelled well at any stage of the event and, in his opinion, may not have handled the soft track conditions today. A post race veterinary examination failed to reveal any significant abnormalities.
