Proved difficult to load. The horse reared as the start was effected and made heavy contact with the barrier crossbar, suffering a significant injury to its head and as a result jockey R. Wiggins restrained the horse out of the event and it failed to complete the course. Trainer S. Kendrick was advised that a veterinary clearance would be required and the horse must obtain a further barrier certificate prior to its next start.
