Laid in under pressure in the home straight. Stewards questioned Jockey in regards to the below market expectation performance of the gelding which was having its first race start in todays event. Jockey advised that the gelding travelled only fairly in the event however when placed under pressure commenced to race greenly and failed to run on it the straight as he had expected. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities
