Rounding the home turn was steadied to avoid the heels of FIREBOX which laid in despite the efforts of its rider. When caught wide in the early stages was restrained for a considerable distance passing the 1000m in an endeavour to obtain a position with cover. Near the 800m was momentarily placed in restricted room and was eased when racing to the inside of FIREBOX which shifted in when not completely clear.
