Laid out rounding the home turn. Became awkward in its action passing the 200m and was eased down. Rider reported that after his mount laid out rounding the turn then commenced to lay in on straightening. He added he became concerned with the action of ARCHERY BUTTS passing the 200m and as such eased his mount out of the race. A post race veterinary examination revealed the gelding to be lame in the off hind leg and coughed on examination. Trainer P Jenkins was advised that a veterinary clearance including the results of an endoscopic examination to be furnished prior to accepting for a future
