Reared as the start was effected and lost significant ground. Disappointed for a run in the early stages of the home straight and obliged to alter course. Apprentice S. Eilbeck reported that whilst she had been disappointed for clear running in the early stages of the home straight, she also felt that the horse was reluctant to race between horses and felt would be better served being shifted wider on the track to be given clear running.

A post race veterinary examination of the horse which finished a distant last revealed it to be suffering from cardiac arrhythmia. Connections were advised it must compete competitively in an official trial and undergo satisfactory ECG prior to its next race start.
