Stewards questioned apprentice A. Sewell regarding his tactics after leaving the 800m and for the remainder of the event. Of concern to stewards was after leaving the 800m, apprentice Sewell had opportunity to position the gelding in order to trail the favourite, HUSSON BOOTS or eventual winner PARK CHINOIS. It appeared he failed to pressure his mount until approaching the 400m. He was further questioned in relation to his vigour in the home straight.
