Rider T. Brooker reported that the horse travelled well in the lead and when rounding the home turn she felt that the horse still had a competitive chance in the finish of the event, however the mare weakened badly from the 200m and was very disappointing over the concluding stages. Trainer N. McCall will be interviewed in coming days regarding the performance. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities. Lost the near fore plate in running.
