Kicked out in the barriers and sustained a minor abrasion to the nearside hock, which was noted upon examination by the veterinary surgeon, and was cleared to start. T. Brooker reported that approaching the 600m her mount commenced to hang out and then hung in under pressure in the home straight and was very disappointing. A post-race veterinary examination, in light of the performance, which was below market expectations, found further lacerations to the front of the nearside hock which had not been noted pre-race.
