Haydon regarding the apparent change in tactics as the horse was ridden in the lead in today’s event, which was in contrast to the horse’s recent training pattern. Jockey Cahill explained that he had not been issued specific instructions as to where to position the horse, however had been advised should he be found in the second half of the field he should be looking to improve his position to be closer to the lead when rounding the home turn.
