Lloyd was reprimanded for directing his mount out and also trainer M. Lakey was advised that given the horse’s involvement in this incident that a warning would be placed on the horse. Improved onto heels over the concluding stages and went to the line without being fully tested.

Significantly tightened for room at the start and checked. Stewards interviewed jockey T. Harrison regarding the horse’s racing manners. She advised that the horse raced very greenly throughout the event, hung out rounding the home turn and shifted out abruptly when attempting to secure clear running over the concluding stages. She also added that the horse had returned to scale with lacerations in its mouth. Trainer M. Mair confirmed this. He was advised that he must provide a veterinary certificate prior to its next race start and must also trial satisfactorily.
