Approaching the 800m was placed in restricted room to the inside of KING RAGNAR and remained awkwardly placed at that horse’s heels before being steadied leaving the 700m. Jockey T. Harrison, rider of KING RAGNAR, was reprimanded for this incident. A post race veterinary examination revealed the horse to be lame in the off fore leg. Connections were advised that a veterinary clearance must be supplied prior to its next race start.
