Trainer B. Gorman was fined $100 for failing to declare a rider for the horse by the prescribed time. Jumped away awkwardly and lost ground. A post race veterinary examination of the horse, which raced very greenly throughout, finished tailed off, failed to reveal any significant abnormalities. Connections were advised that the horse must trial satisfactorily in an official trial prior to its next race start.
