Apprentice B. Nothdurft was asked to comment on the performance. He stated that the horse, in his opinion, was disappointing in its finishing effort after enjoying a favourable run whilst leading in the early and middle stages. He felt that the horse was still travelling comfortably approaching the 300m, however, when asked for an effort failed to respond. He added that the horse also laid in under pressure in the home straight.
