A post race veterinary examination failed to reveal any abnormalities. Trainer T Bowman was advised the colt would be required to trial to the satisfaction of Stewards prior to being permitted to race again.

Trainer P Duff was advised that a veterinary clearance would be required if the CLAUDIUS was to start in a race within the next six weeks and a warning be placed against the gelding for its racing manners.
