When questioned by Stewards regarding the performance of the filly, which drifted noticeably in the betting, Trainer B. Currie advised that the filly had been working well in preparation for tonight’s event, and other than the fact that the filly may have come to the end of its preparation, and that the horse was stepping up in distance from 1000M to 1300M, he could offer no other explanation for the horse’s disappointing performance tonight.
