Bumped heavily on the hindquarters on jumping and, as a result, was turned sideways and became unbalanced. Jockey K. Yoshida could offer no explanation for the performance of the gelding, which was below market expectation. A post-race veterinary examination revealed the horse to be exhibiting a cough.
