Connections advised that it would be the intention for the gelding to be ridden further forward in the field today if circumstances permit. After being ridden along in the early stages, the gelding settled in a midfield position. Raced 3 wide without cover throughout. On return to scale, jockey E. Ljung reported that her mount did not feel comfortable in its action from the 600m. A post-race veterinary examination of the gelding failed to reveal any abnormalities.
