Blundered near the 700m. When questioned by Stewards regarding the seemingly disappointing performance, jockey N. Tomizawa advised that his mount was able to travel in a handy position during the race, however after it blundered near the 700m, the filly failed to travel from that point and, in his opinion, proved disappointing over the concluding stages. The trainer’s representative could offer no explanation for the filly’s performance today, which he advised was disappointing. A post-race veterinary examination of the filly failed to reveal any apparent abnormalities.
