Had to be steadied for some distance approaching the 900m when awkwardly placed at the heels of ALLE VONGOLE. Apprentice J. Murphy, the rider of ALLE VONGOLE, was reprimanded for shifting in when not sufficiently clear. Shifted out under pressure over the concluding stages.

J. Taylor reported that it was not his intention to race on the speed today, however, the horse, with the addition of blinkers, overraced and subsequently failed to finish the race off as expecged and was disappointing.

Began awkwardly. Commenced to overrace at the heels of MISHANI WEAPON approaching the 900m and shifted out abruptly, hampering EXPERT REPLY. A post-race veterinary examination revealed that the filly had sustained lacerations on both hind legs consistent with being galloped on and had cast the near hind plate in running.
