Hampered at the start. When questioned regarding the horse’s performance, apprentice C. Gallagher stated that the mare commenced to weaken leaving the 600m and as he was concerned with its action he elected not to fully test the mare over the final 400m. Apprentice Gallagher was of the opinion that the mare failed to handle the step up from 1200m to 1650m today. Trainer questioned. Refer Stewards Report. Vetted post-race, no abnormalities.
