Became unbalanced for a stride when bumped heavily near the 400m by NICCONI BAY, which shifted in. Apprentice M. Shimodaira, the rider of NICCONI BAY, was reprimanded. Had to be steadied near the 250m to avoid the heels of COOK STRAIGHT, which shifted out when not fully clear. Jockey D. Smith, the rider of COOK STRAIGHT, was advised to exercise more care in similar circumstances.
