Shifted out at the start and bumped SHE’S FOR RANSOM. A post-race veterinary examination of the gelding, which commenced to hang out from the 700m and took no further competitive part in the event, revealed no significant findings. Trainer S. Hoffman was advised that the horse must perform satisfactorily in an official trial before being permitted to race again.

L. Tarrant reported at scale that his mount felt sore and for this reason he was reluctant to pressure his mount over the concluding stages.. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no significant findings. Trainer R. Wilson’s representative, Ms D. Sullivan, expressed her disappointment in the performance and undertook to report to stewards anything that comes to light in coming days which may have had an effect on the performance.
