Lowered head prior to start and lost ground. Rider questioned re performance - stated under pressure leaving 700m and was hard ridden in effort to improve position. Added filly failed to finish off as expected and in his opinion was somewhat disappointing. Of opinion filly better suited further distances than today’s event. Vetted - no abnormalities, swab sample taken.
