Slow to begin. Questioned re performance stated after beginning slowly was obliged to pressure mare in effort to take up customary forward position. Noted instructions were to obtain handy position with cover however, when 3 wide passing 1200m continued to ride forward to eventually settle outside leader. Expressed disappointment in performance, which may have been as a result of pressure applied in early stages. Vetted - no abnormalities.
