During the middle stages when the pace slackened had a tendency to over-race and had to be restrained from heels on a number of occasions. Jockey B Grylls explained that it was not her intention to settle that far back in the field but after obtaining a trailing position was shuffled back due to the tempo slowing and horses improving around her.

Began awkwardly and shifted in. Approaching the 1200m steadied away from heels and was taken in when MASTER DAME shifted in when not fully clear and then commenced to over-race and had a tendency to lay in. Jockey L Rolls (MASTER DAME) was advised to exercise more care when shifting ground. Bumped approaching the 600m when FINE EYES which commenced to over-race shifted out to avoid heels.
