Raced wide throughout. On return to scale N. Day reported that the filly raced greenly and did not travel strongly throughout the event. He added that when placed under pressure in the home straight the filly became awkward and dipped and from that point he desisted from riding the horse out for the remainder of the event. A post-race veterinary examination revealed the filly to be mildly shin sore in the near foreleg. Trainer L. Birchley will be advised that should the horse continue with its current preparation he will be required to obtain a veterinary clearance for the horse.
