J. Orman could offer no tangible explanation for the horse's disappointing performance other than that the gelding may not have been suited by racing in a more forward position in today's event. A post-race veterinary examination revealed a slow post-race recovery and a very high heart rate. Stewards will follow up with trainer R. Lipp in the days following the event regarding the horse's post-race recovery.
