Proved difficult to load. Trainer R. Heathcote was advised that a warning would be placed on the filly’s manners. Slow to begin. Had a tendency to hang out throughout the event. A post-race veterinary examination revealed the filly to have a laceration to its tongue. Trainer R. Heathcote advised that in light of today’s performance he may recommend to connections that he send the filly for a short let up.
