Trainer M. Costa advised that because of the wide barrier it would be the intention to have the horse ridden in a rearward position. After beginning well the mare commenced to overrace and despite the efforts of its rider refused to settle and therefore was allowed to stride forward to race outside the leader passing the 900m and continued to overrace in that position.
