Began awkwardly. After racing in a rearward position, the gelding failed to respond to riding in the home straight. A post-race veterinary examination revealed the gelding to be making an abnormal respiratory noise. The stable representative, T. Stevenson, was advised that the gelding will require a veterinary clearance, including the results of an endoscopic examination, prior to its next start.
