After racing in a forward position for the majority, the mare commenced to weaken after passing the 500m and finished tailed off. A post-race veterinary examination of the mare failed to reveal any apparent abnormalities. Co-trainers B. & D. Guy advised that in light of today’s performance, it is now their intention to retire the mare to stud.
