Slow to begin and then was reluctant to stretch out in the early stages and had to be ridden vigorously to remain in touch with the main body of the field. Apprentice S. Eilbeck reported her mount laid in under pressure in the home straight. Trainer K. Kemp was advised that a warning would be placed on the horse regarding its racing manners. Trainer K. Kemp indicated he would most likely experiment with the horse’s gear in a trial prior to its next race start.
