When questioned regarding the disappointing performance of the filly, Jockey said that his mount was inclined to race keenly throughout the early and middle stages, however even allowing for that, his mount was disappointing in its failure to finish the race off. A post-race veterinary examination of the filly did not reveal any abnormalities.
