Began very awkwardly which almost resulted in its rider being dislodged and, as a result, lost valuable ground at the start. Hung out rounding the home turn. A post-race veterinary examination revealed the gelding to be exhibiting an abnormal respiratory noise. In light of the veterinary report, trainer L. Hatch advised that he will now review the horse’s current preparation.
