Questioned as to performance - rider stated after beginning slowly horse was then slow to muster speed despite his efforts. When asked to improve passing 600m horse responded only fairly and was dissapointing in its overall performance. Noted he had ridden horse in work leading into today, on the basis of which both he and connections were hopefull of a better performance. Though horse may benefit from a gelding operation. Stable idicated would consider either addition of blinkers or gelding operation prior to next start.
