Raced 3 wide without cover throughout. When questioned as to the tactics adopted in the early stages Jockey R McMahon noted that he anticipated settling on the speed today given that the filly had raced in a similar position over shorter distances. Jockey McMahon added that in the early stages when caught wide he was concerned that the filly did not possess the necessary speed to press forward and settle outside VINTAGE BEAUTY and as a consequence raced wide without cover for the majority of the event. A post-race veterinary examination failed to reveal any abnormalities.
