When questioned regarding the improved performance, Trainer B Baldwin explained that the mare was having its first race start for his stable. He added that when ARC LIGHT first arrived at his stable he was advised that the mare had some poor racing characteristics which led to poor performances. He further added that these characteristics had improved under his care resulting in the mare performing well in 3 recent jump-outs.
