When questioned regarding the performance, Jockey M Hellyer stated that the mare failed to travel comfortably throughout the event and in his opinion may have come to the end of its current preparation. A post-race veterinary examination failed to reveal any abnormalities. Stable representative agreed with the comments of Jockey Hellyer and advised that the mare would now most likely be sent for an immediate spell.
