Held up rounding the home turn. Trainer B. Hudson was questioned regarding the horse’s seemingly improved performance. Mr Hudson explained that at its most recent start the horse was travelling very well but the saddle slipped approaching the home turn, which placed its rider on that occasion at a distinct disadvantage. He added that WHATEVER MISS has always raced well at Ipswich and he was not surprised that it was able to win convincingly today.
